Que Freddy Mercury era grande nadie lo ponía en duda. Ya lo había demostrado durante su periplo con su banda Queen. Para grabar “Barcelona”, su segundo álbum en solitario, el de Zimbaue contó con otra grande de la música, la cantante de ópera Monserrat Caballé. Convertida en canción oficial de los Juegos Olímpicos de Barcelona 1992, el contraste y al mismo tiempo complemento de voces, ambas angelicales, elevan a la composición a la categoría de himno. Freddy y Montserrat corroboran lo que todos ya sabíamos: que la música siempre une.
